Muktinath Tour Package

Sri Muktinath’s central shrine is one of the eight most sacred shrines for Hindu Vaishnavas known as Svayam Vyakta Ksetras, along with Srirangam, Srimushnam, Tirupati, Naimisharanya, Thotadri, Pushkar, and Badrinath. The murti is made of gold and stands tall enough to be compared to a man. Water is poured through 108 bull faces in the prakaram (outer courtyard). The temperature is below zero. The sacred water that flows in 108 pipes around the temple complex represents all 108 Sri Vaishnava Divya Desams, including Srirangam, Tirumala, and Vaikunta, where devotees take their sacred baths even in freezing temperatures.

The Temple of Muktinath The Muktinath Yatra Nepat Tourism is a Shakti Peetha. Shakti Peethas are sacred Shakti abodes formed by the falling of body parts of Sati Devi’s corpse when Lord Shiva carried it and wandered. Shaktism reveres 51 Shakti Peethas, which correspond to the 51 alphabets of Sanskrit. In the temple of each Shakti Peetha, there is a Shakti shrine and a Bhairava shrine. The “Shakti” of Muktinath Shrine is addressed as “Gandaki Chandi” and the “Bhairava” as “Chakrapani”. Sati Devi’s temple on the brow is thought to have fallen here. The mythology of Daksha yaga and Sati’s self-immolation were extremely important in strengthening Shaktism. In this mythology, Sati Devi commits suicide by immolating herself. This mythology tells the story of Shakti Peethas.
